Michael Ho
Hi, I am Michael Ho and I teach Physics in a secondary school. My family has been hosting youth participants since 2003 and we welcome learning about the youths and their experiences.
I have been the recipient of many kind and generous hosts during my visits to other countries, so I hope to extend the same to others visiting our country too.
I am happy to be able to add to the visiting youths’ knowledge of Singapore and its people, and be part of their global experiences.
V Leelavathi
My name is V Leelavathi, you can call me Lee. I am 68 years old. I have been a host family since 1986, and have hosted many different youths for the last 30 years!
I enjoy and cherish every single opportunity in hosting our youths from not only all the ASEAN countries, including Japan.
Being a host family not only allows me to share our Singapore culture and experience to our foreign youths, it is also a great way to learn about their different cultures from the various countries as well.
Through the years of hosting, I can now see the vast difference between the youths then and the youths today.
